Boba Carrier Giveaway – Blog Bash 2011

I guess you would call me new to baby wearing. I wore Baybah in a sling when he was a baby, but now that he is a growing toddler, that is not the best option for us. Hubs actually wears Baybah when we are out and about, but his carrier is too hard to adjust the straps in between users, so I never use it. I really wanted to wear Baybah, but have honestly been intimidated by all of the different options and brands out there. Back in October a friend introduced me to Boba at the ABC Kids Expo, and their Organic Carrier Collection really caught my eye. The Organic Carrier had adjustable foot straps for your toddler, an option I had not seen before on any carrier, so I was really anxious to try one on. Luckily Baybah was with me, so we were able to test it out. I could not believe how light my 25 pounder felt, and really how easy it was to put on and take off.

After leaving the Expo, I continued to think about the Boba Organic Carrier, so you can imagine how excited I was when I was given the opportunity to review one! Boba sent me their Pine carrier for review that is made of 100% organic cotton, and can be used from 15-45lbs. It is gender neutral in color, espresso straps with a green and natural swirl pattern on the panel, so it is perfect for Hubs and I to both use. One of my favorite things about the Boba Organic Carrier is how easy it is to use. For me, that is a priority. The straps are easily adjusted making it convenient for Hubs and I to switch users back and forth, and most importantly I cannot believe how simple it is to get Baybah in and out. Once he is in I feel like he is safe and secure, and I feel no pressure on my back or shoulders. It is so comfortable for me to carry him either in the front or back, and I love the interaction I am able to have with Baybah while I hold him close.

Baybah also loves the Boba Organic Carrier. One of the first times I wore Baybah in the carrier was waiting in a long line to see Santa. Baybah was very content and did not feel like he had to get out and run around like he does when he is in a stroller. He was comfortable and happy, which made waiting in this long line easier. When I wear Baybah on my back he loves to put his feet in the adjustable foot straps so his little legs do not dangle. This extra feature gives him leg support putting him in a natural sitting position, and ensures complete blood flow throughout his legs. The high back on the carrier also gives his back extra needed support, making him even more secure. Baybah absolutely loves to be in the carrier, and often starts giggling with excitement when I put him in it.

I cannot say enough good things about this product. If you think it is too late to start using a carrier, it is not. The Boba Organic Carrier will make you wish you had been using it all along. So whether you are a seasoned baby wearer, or a newbie like me, you will love the Boba Organic Carrier.
