The high today here in Las Vegas was 113. Yesterday we tied the record for the hottest day since 1948. It is HOT! Thank goodness tomorrow it is going to cool down a little to 108. Not wanting my summer to end by any means but thinking cool thoughts, I thought about the last time I went home to Pittsburgh, PA and it was snowing. In October! Maybe we should go out for a snow cone!

That is HOT! We just avoud going outside. It’s been around 104 in STL but it’s finally calmed down to a balmy 95. :-)
oh wow, and I thought 98 was hot! I would take some snow about now too! It will be here in PA before we know it!
We are staying cool by staying INSIDE! We are having some weird “cool front” with rain so we’ve dropped to the mid-90s. We will be back to 100+ soon!!
Oh my goodness! I can’t even imagine it getting that hot! And is the humidity bad out there too?! Yikes! You definately deserve a snow cone or two!
No, thank goodness the humidity level is low. But when it gets over 110 here the heat rocks you.

I was just remarking on how we had such a nice cool down up here in Michigan to 85 degrees. We aren’t used to temps over 100 here but after having them for a while we are used to it and 85 feels chilly!

Stay cool! We’ve had some hot spells in Atlanta but I’m sure nothing compared to Vegas.
It’s cooler today. We had some big storms come through the last couple of days, and they cooled us down.
We finally dropped temps about 30 degrees! We’re in the low 70′s right now and it feels heavenly!

Good luck! I hope you survive the heat without making the a/c run non-stop, but I guess that mat be the only way to survive!
Yeah, that’s hot. We were at 106 a few days back, but it’s cooled off to an almost winter-like 90 recently.
It’s been so ridiculously hot, but I still prefer it to harsh Iowa winters.
Triple digits are so miserable. Hope you find lots of cool ways to stay cool.

We’ve broke several temp records this spring/summer, too. Today is the most pleasant day we’ve had in awhile. It’s rained some (which we desperately need), and the temps have been in the upper 80s.
Wow, that’s hot! Although, recently here in PA, it’s been nearing the 100 degree mark as well. But, I have to say, I’m not missing the snow one bit!

We are super hot and I haven’t found a good way to stay cool. Just keeping hydrated and cold drinks. Summer fruits, watermelon, cucumber.
OMG!! That’s hot! It’s been in the 100′s here…yikes! We just drink plenty of liquids and try not to go outside.

I so feel your pain. Although it hasn’t gotten to 113 here, it has been hot! We have had a week of cooler temps and rain but the heat is coming back and I’m not a happy camper.
