This weeks topic for Mamavation Monday is healthy snacks so I thought I would share one of my favorite healthy snacks, a rice cake with peanut butter and sliced bananas. This is my go to snack when I need something salty and sweet and helps me stay away from something that I should not eat. My favorite rice cakes to use are the Quaker Rice Cakes Lightly Salted. They are only 35 calories and have just a pinch of salt. My go to peanut butter is Skippy Natural Creamy Peanut Butter. It is so yummy and creamy. I use 1 T of it so that adds on another 65 calories. The sliced bananas I put on top add on another 35-40 calories. That makes this yummy snack less than 150 calories!

- Get in at least 10,000 steps a day.
- Drink at least 100 oz of water a day.

- Get sleep.

Getting sleep is ALWAYS my biggest struggle!
I used to have rice cakes with PB all the time growing up but I totally forgot about it! Thanks for the reminder, I’m totally getting some rice cakes next time I’m at the store! :)

That actually sounds pretty good. I never thought of putting peanut butter on a rice cake.
I’m not big on rice cakes though I do like peanut butter and bananas on the double fiber honey english muffins!

My favorite snack is a Breve right now. It almost counts as a lunch but I seriously love them. Good luck on your goals for the week.

I am a peanut butter addict beyond belief. My current eating plan allows for an all natural, no sugar added brand only, but it’s still heaven. Here’s to this week’s goal!!

This sounds good but I just cant spread the peanut butter on the rice cake… However, I do find myself loving garlic stuffed olives when I want something salty and craisins when I want something sweet.
