Unfortunately most of has know someone that has been affected by cancer. I remember my first experience with cancer was in the 4th grade. One of my classmates lost his battle. Several years later my best friends mom was diagnosed with and lost her battle with breast cancer. It was devastating. I also have a friend from college that fought the battle against breast cancer and won. Both of these women showed incredible courage, strength, and bravery.
October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Ford Motor Company hopes that you will join them, whether you are a survivor, co-survivor or simply someone who cares, to fight against breast cancer. And 100% of the proceeds of their Ford Warriors in Pink apparel goes directly to support breast cancer awareness all year long.
This October, Ford Warriors in Pink® has launched its first ever produced documentary, “Bang the Drum: Living Out Loud in the Face of Breast Cancer.” The film honors 11 men and women breast cancer survivors who have demonstrated strength and courage in their battle with its “Models of Courage” program. 2012 marks Ford Motor Company’s 18th year of support for the breast cancer cause. I had the opportunity to watch this documentary at Bloggy Bootcamp last weekend and hear one of the “Models of Courage” Tina speak. The strength of these men and women is inspirational. Please take a moment to watch this amazing documentary.
You too can get involved in this tremendously worthy program! When you buy Ford Warriors in Pink apparel at fordcares.com, 100 percent of the net proceeds go directly to support breast cancer awareness all year long.
