I love to decorate for Halloween so today I thought I would share with all of you how I decorated my halloween mantle this year. I wanted to keep with the theme of The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe. It is a classic poem that is perfectly spooky and creepy for this time of year.
I started off by added some black swag fabric that I found at the Dollar Tree
I rummaged through our garage and found this old window. It is grimy, dirty and has peeling paint. I didn’t clean it off or anything just set it on my mantle.
I made these Nevermore woods blocks just for this mantle. The word Nevermore is from The Raven poem.
I then added some other fun things like a Raven, skull and a wood board depicting a Raven. I may add some spiderweb and spiders once I have a moment to run to the store, but for now this is my Halloween mantle and I love it!

I so need to copy this! :) I love Edgar Allan Poe. My son did the “Conqueror Worm” for an audition piece recently. And “The Raven” is my all-time favorite poem!

Wow! That is a fantastic mantle display! I decorate for Halloween, but unfortunately, we don’t have a mantle. :( I so miss having a mantle to decorate during the holidays.
