Dear Baybah-
As we start a new year it is hard to believe that your 3rd year is almost over. You have brought nothing but joy and happiness into my life. When you wake up in the morning I look forward to seeing your crazy curly hair and gigantic smile. Weekend mornings are my favorite because you, daddy, and I, snuggle in bed and watch one your favorite shows. We talk about what we are going to do that day, and you often tell us a silly story. When you are ready to go downstairs you tickle our feet until we get out of bed.
You are such a little ham, we often wonder what you are going to do or say next. We will find you in the couch cushions, making silly faces, or saying things like, “Daddies wearing hair.” when looking at an old college picture of dad when he had more hair then he does now. You are also a little chef and love to help daddy make dinner. You tell daddy, “I want to cook too!” and ask him if you can “twirl it” when something needs stirred.
Your toys of choice right now are your castle and Batman house. I love hearing you act as the knights or batman in your cute little play voice. And you love building with Dupplos. From robots to pyramids, your imagination and creativity amaze me. You ask us, “What do you want me to build for you?” and each time you will build a new and amazing creation.
I look forward to each and every day with you and cannot wait to see what you do next.
Love you forever to the moon and back,
Mommy
