With B in full day PreK this year we have been on the lookout for quick and healthy snacks for him to take to school or to have as an after school treat. Recently I was introduced to a fun option called Lunchables Jr. by the makers of Lunchables known for their on-the-go lunch combos. Lunchables Jr.’s are a perfect grab & go snack for kids 3+ and come in 4 great varieties.
Ants on a Log:
Crunchy honey graham sticks with creamy peanut butter, and tasty SUN-MAID raisins.
Includes Cheez-It crackers, blueberry-flavored dried apple pieces and mini NILLA wafers.
Teddy Bear Picnic:
Creamy peanut butter, dried apple pieces, and crunchy TEDDY GRAHAMS.
Very Beary Crunch:
Mini RITZ BITS cheese cracker sandwiches with strawberry-flavored dried apple pieces and TEDDY GRAHAMS honey graham snacks.
We not only need to pack a lunch for my son for school, but we also have to pack him an afternoon snack, and Lunchables Jr.’s are a perfect option. I love that they are pre-packaged and ready to go so all I need to do is put them in his lunchbox. Since his school has a no nut policy, I make sure to choose Very Beary Crunch or Blueberry Bonanza since neither contain peanut butter. We save the ones with peanut butter for home or for when we are on the go in our car or when we are out and about and B needs a quick snack.
B loves them because they are the perfect bite sized snack for him and come in some of his favorite flavors. I love them because they are convenient and contain real fruit.
Lunchables Jr.’s can be found exclusively at Walmart in the baby aisle.
