Today the day started with Hubs making homemade apple pie. It is one of his specialties, and requested every year by our friends to bring to Thanksgiving dinner. We then spent some time watching football and the Macy’s Day Parade, and then headed over to our friends house for dinner. Living so far away from our families, it is wonderful to have special friends to be able to share the holidays with. Dinner was yummy, and the pie was outstanding. After our tummies were full, and the dishes were washed, it was time for us to head home. The only thing that would have made this day sweeter would be if our families were here to celebrate with us.

Our evening ended with our little turkey reading Goodnight Moon to his little turkey. I have so much to be thankful for!
