Panasonic Jet Force Vacuum Review

panasonic vacuum

I do not know if it is because my son is a boy or a toddler, but mess seems to follow him around.  He can mess up a perfectly clean room in a snap.  And the dirt, don’t even get me started on the dirt.  I mean seriously, how does it happen?  When cleaning his mess, I need products that are effective and as fast and furious as he is.  And my vacuum better do all that and more.  I need something that is lightweight so I can take it up and down the steps, cleans multiple surfaces so I can clean the carpet  and tile, and a filtering system that makes sure dirt and dust does not recirculate into the air.  Recently I have found that vacuum, and it is the Panasonic Jet Force Vacuum.

Putting the Panasonic Jetforce Vacuum MC-UL427 together was a breeze.  You just slide the handle into the base, tighten 1 screw to hold the handle in place, and then put the attachments and hose into place.  I loved that it was ready to use in less than 5 minutes.

Once I turned the vacuum on I surprised how quiet it was.  I have never had a vacuum that was that quiet, so it was a nice change.  I then noticed that it is really light weight.  At only 15 pounds, the Jet Force vacuum was really easy to manuver and its 12-Amp motor made it powerful enough for Baybah’s mess!

bagless vacuum

Another great feature of the Panasonic Jet Force Vacuum is its barefoot floor option.  A convenient switch on the nozzle shuts off the agitator for safe bare floor cleaning.  It did as great of a job on my tile floor as it did on my carpet and I could easily switch back and forth from room to room.

The stretch hose, wand, dusting brush, pet hair air turbine brush, and crevice tool are attached to the vacuum and allow instant access to powerful, above-floor cleaning.  Tight spots, upholstery and more can be done in moments.  The air turbine brush made it really easy for me to vacuum the stairs, which always seems like such a big job.  Since the Jet Force is bagless, all you have to do is click open the filter and then dump the dirt into the garbage.  Once you are ready for a ne HEPA air filter, just rinse the one already in the vacuum, let it dry, and then it is ready to be reused.  I LOVE this.  With my old vacuum I would forget to install a new filter or had problems finding one at the store so I would just reuse the old dirty one.  I am sure that was not good for the vacuum’s performance or our lungs.  I like being able to wash and reuse so much better.

The next feature that I think is fantastic about the Jet Force Vacuum is the 24 inch automatic cord reel.  A single touch activates the cord rewind mechanism making storage easy and convenient.   No more dealing with winding the cord up each time you are finished using it.

Overall I was very impressed with this vacuum.  It is as fast and furious about cleaning as my son is at making a mess.  That is especially important when you have a toddler on the loose right before the holidays.  Whether you need a deep clean, or a quick hurry up guests are coming clean,  I know you will be impressed with the Panasonic Jet Force Vacuum.

The Panasonic Jet Force Vacuum retails for $149.99 on the Panasonic website.  It can also be ordered at

I think I am going to break down this year and buy an upstairs vacuum. Extravagant? Maybe, but with a 5-year old who will vacuum for me, but can’t lift the vac, I want more cleaning power.

I love that you can rinse and reuse the filter…along with this being lightweight…what a plus! My only question is that I wonder how it would be on pet hair?! I have a hardcore dyson that is great on it, but something that I could use on tile and hard wood as well as the steps would be awesome!

    • Krista-
I do not have a pet, so I cannot say for sure. I know other bloggers did reviews on this that had pets. Try doing a google search. If you cannot find your answer, let me know, and I will try to look for you.
