Breakfast, I really need to add it daily into my life. Sometimes I eat it and other times I am too busy and forget or feel too darn lazy and do not feel like making anything. I KNOW, I know. It is the most important meal of the day and helps give me the energy I need for the rest of the day, I just have to do it!
Everything for me is about being prepared. If I am prepared, I will succeed. Fellow Mamavation Sistas Andrea (@AndreaEmilien) and Megan (@MnMSpecial) and I have stared a Pinterest Board called Quick and Healthy Breakfast Ideas where we have started to pin healthy breakfast ideas that we would love to try. I really love the idea of making something like the Baked Oatmeal Cupcakes like the ones below so I can make them over the weekend and have them for the rest of the week. Andrea has made them before and she absolutely loves them. The ingredients are on my shopping list and I plan on making them for Monday. I will let you know how they are. Do you eat breakfast everyday?
What is your favorite Quick and Healthy Breakfast Ideas? I need some more inspiration for Breakfasts on the Go!

My goals for this Week:
- Get in at least 10,000 steps a day.
- Drink at least 100 oz of water a day.
- Go on a walk with my family at least 3 times this week!
- EAT BREAKFAST EVERYDAY!

I am enjoying overnight oatmeal right now, you mix oatmeal with milk and fruit and let it sit in the refrigerator all night. Tastes great!
I’m not sure if I pinned or shared my pumpkin steel cut oats, but it makes plenty for warming up another day. I’m a creature of habit & generally stick with Greek yogurt, granola & fruit.
Oatmeal cupcakes – yummmm!!! I still have some in my freezer. I don’t always eat breakfast for the same reasons you don’t. Something I am going to work on this week.
I usually do a smoothie and some cooked egg whites :)

I want to make oatmeal in the crockpot with the steel oats.
I’ve actually made those, they turned out okay, they were good hot but the next day even warmed up were rubbery. So def just make enough for your family right then.

I love a quick Spinach and Egg Omelet on pita bread. Soo healthy and delicious!
Great goals. Since I am on the run to go to work I usually have peanut butter and banana shakes. They taste good and keep me full.
I love overnight oatmeal–just combine some fruit, oatmeal, and almond milk in a jar and let it sit in the fridge overnight. So good!
The only healthy breakfast things I eat are fresh fruit…everything else is an indulgence!
I am a huge fan of oatmeal with light brown sugar mixed in and it really fills you up.

I eat breakfast MOST days but it’s usually only a tiny item, and then I end up hungry before lunch time & eat too much for lunch. I am totally following your board for ideas now!
Great goals! I need to drink more water, especially being pregnant in this heat.
I have been noticing and researching ways to lose weight, and I have decided for me, that two meals a day works. I like the idea of eating big meals (sad, but true), so I can have 1300 calories in a day and have 650 calories per meal. If I exercise an hour or more in a day, I can have extra calories. :) I’ve just recently started this and so far it’s working better than anything else I’ve tried.
I like plain oatmeal with fruit.

I don’t usually eat breakfast but I really need to start.
I’m one of those people who is bad at eating breakfast at all! Right now I’m forcing myself to drink a Carnation instant breakfast and grab a banana! Not the most savory, but healthy at least.
We have soaked oatmeal and sourdough waffles often these days. Yum!
Yeah, breakfast is key. I don’t always choose a GOOD breakfast, but my kids get good stuff as much as I can get it to them! :)
Great goals this week – I’m bad about breakfast, too because I can’t eat right after I get up – I usually have 1/2 bagel or something at like 10 :)
I’m a smothie girl all the way. As long as I pack it full of greens like kale and spinach it will keep me full for a long time. Love the look of those muffins
I make scotch eggs – minus flour or breadcrumbs – for an easy healthy breakfast.
