Mirror, mirror on the wall…. who’s the fairest of them all? Why yes, of course it is my little Sweet Pea!

As Sweet Pea’s first Halloween is quickly approaching I had to find something that was as darling and delicate as my little lovey and thought of the original snow white story. She is so ladylike I had to find a costume that would reflect her sweet personality. Okay, a bit over the top I know. But she’s my first so what can I say! Your little princess can be the fairest of them all in a Snow White costume, your little mister can be a daring pirate or perhaps the cutest little octopus, adorable crab, soft cuddly panda bear… you name it Anytime Costumes can deliver the cutest costume around!

When searching on anytimecostumes.com I was very thankful I didn’t have to spend hours looking and searching within the site. I was quickly able to search by size which is a huge bonus for a Mom with little free time on my hands. Costumes can be viewed by genre, gender and price as well. I personally found it easiest to search by size as not to follow in love with something that she just couldn’t have. As I mentioned there is an abundance of choices and they are all offered at affordable prices. Anytime Costumes can cover all your Halloween needs for the entire family. Including Fido! As well as all those fun accessories from masks, wigs, hats and makeup. So don’t forget to check those out as well.

For Sweet Pea, I decided on Snow White and how fitting for her first Halloween to be Disney’s first princess. I couldn’t help but think how adorable she would look with her light skin, dark hair and bright blue eyes in that tiny precious princess gown. When her costume arrived I was so excited to rip it open and see how it was going to look, feel and fit. The traditional skirt is replaced with a yellow satin underskirt and topped with a glittery fluff of yellow netting. There is a soft thin slip within to assure baby’s coziness. Most importantly for Sweet Pea it is crawling approved. She is able to move with ease and comfort which is very important to me. Her gown will be worn to play group and story time so the costume must stand the elements and the busy little bee that is Miss Sweet Pea. The bodice is form-fitting royal satin with puffed sleeves of royal and red stripes, and trimmed with a white lace collar. The oversized red satin bow is embellished with a Snow White medallion and looks just adorable and takes the gown up a notch. Topping the outfit off with a red ribbon headband that is included finishes the look to be the perfect little princess. If you were to decide on this Snow White costume your own princess will enchant any Halloween activity or can be used anytime to play Snow White dress up.

There is one foreseeable issue that I noticed with this gorgeous little costume and that would be the sizing. Sweet Pea is a very lean baby and is eight months old so I ordered a 6-12 month costume. It fits her like a glove. Literally. If she were much older or had those adorable (much wanted for kissing purposes) rolls on her arms I’m not sure it would fit. The sleeves fit her very thin arms perfectly which is something to think about when you go to purchase your child’s costume depending on your little ones build. Another thing to think about is we live in a very warm climate therefore I won’t be adding layers underneath so plan sizing accordingly if layers are needed. I will say I was very impressed to see a return slip included with my order. The directions were very simple, straight forward and truly seemed hassle free. You can even print out a free shipping label if needed. Therefore a return seems to be a piece of cake as long as you follow the simple form.
