Italian Wedding Soup Recipe

Italian Wedding Soup

We were taking Baybah home from a sleep over at Uncle J and (soon to be) Aunt J’s when I was struck with the inspiration to make wedding soup.  The two are about to get married here in Las Vegas this summer.   Hearing about their wedding plans reminds me of when Hubs and I were planning ours.  Even though we lived in Las Vegas, we decided to get married in Pittsburgh, PA, because that is where both of our families are from.   Weddings in South Western Pennsylvania are filled with tradition from cookie tables to dancing the polka.  One of our favorites is Italian Wedding Soup.  No one there gets married without having it as part of the first course.  My husband often makes it for us and it always reminds me of our wedding day and family back home.  It makes the perfect appetizer or meal and is simply delicious.  Here is my husbands Italian Wedding Soup Recipe.
