World Water Day: TAP Keep it Clean Campaign

World Water Day-The Adventure Project’s Keep It Clean Campaign

Clean water, it is something we here in the states take for granted.   We drink it freely, water our lawns with it, swim in it, and do not have to worry about what is in it. Developing countries do not have that luxury.  1/3 of of all of the handpumps installed in the last 20 years are now broken.  And, 4,000 children die everyday because of the lack of clean water.  We can help change that.

Today, Tuesday March 22 is World Water Day, and The Adventure Project’s Keep It Clean Campaign needs our help.  The Adventure Project’s Keep It Clean Campaign would like to train and employ men and women in North India to repair their region’s water well.  These handpump mechanics would earn an income, bringing themselves out of poverty, and help turn the water back on for thousands of people each year, saving lives.

Help The Adventure Project raise money to make this happen.  If they raise $10,000, they will be able to help mechanics fix hundreds of wells for years to come, turning water back on for 300 people each month.  Imagine what could happen if they were able to raise more!
